Paging & Music On Hold
PA systems, ceiling speakers, IP paging, and custom music-on-hold integration for businesses across Mississauga, Toronto, and the GTA.
A paging system lets you communicate, address, and send messages to people across your building, warehouse, retail floor, or public area. AN Telecom Solutions designs and installs paging systems and integrates music-on-hold with your phone system — so your facility runs smoothly and callers hear a professional message while they wait.
We serve businesses across Mississauga, Toronto, and the Greater Toronto Area — from single-zone office setups to multi-zone warehouse and industrial paging systems.
Paging Systems
We install a full range of paging solutions depending on your facility size and requirements.
Traditional PA Systems
Wired amplifiers and speakers for building-wide announcements in offices, warehouses, and retail spaces.
Ceiling Speakers and Paging Horns
Flush-mount ceiling speakers for indoor areas and weatherproof paging horns for outdoor or industrial environments.
Telephone Paging
Page directly from your desk phone to overhead speakers — integrated with your existing phone system.
IP Paging
Network-based paging using your existing LAN — scalable, zone-controlled, and centrally managed.
Time Clock Buzzers
Automated buzzers and tone systems for shift changes, break times, and scheduled alerts.
Emergency Notification and Mass Paging
Paging systems can serve a critical safety function beyond daily announcements. For warehouses, schools, and large commercial facilities, we configure emergency notification capabilities — including pre-recorded emergency messages, all-zone override paging, and integration with fire alarm and lockdown systems where applicable.
If your facility requires compliance with Ontario Fire Code or workplace safety regulations for audible notification, your paging infrastructure can serve double duty — handling routine announcements during normal operations and emergency broadcasts when needed.
IP Paging and Horn Systems
Modern paging often runs on your data network: SIP endpoints, IP horn speakers, and amplifiers that register alongside your phones. We wire, configure, and test complete systems — from warehouse paging horns to office ceiling speakers — including integration with Grandstream and other VoIP platforms for dial-out paging and zone selection.
- IP horn and ceiling speaker deployment
- Amplifiers and zone paging controllers
- Desk phone-to-overhead paging integration
- Multi-zone scheduling and priority levels
Music On Hold
Music on hold (MOH) is the music or marketing message callers hear when placed on hold. A professional hold message keeps callers engaged and reinforces your brand instead of silence or a dial tone.
Device Integration
We integrate MOH devices with your phone system — compatible with Grandstream, Nortel, Avaya, and VoIP platforms.
Professional Voice-Over Recording
Our voice-over artist records your business marketing script mixed with music — a polished hold experience for every caller.
Music Scheduling and Multiple Sources
For businesses that want different hold messages during and after business hours, or different messages for different departments, we configure scheduled playback and multiple audio sources. Your system can rotate between promotional messages, seasonal greetings, and background music on a schedule you define.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I page from my desk phone?
Yes. We integrate paging with your phone system so you can dial a paging extension or zone code from any handset to broadcast over overhead speakers. This works with Grandstream, Nortel, Avaya, and most VoIP platforms.
What is the difference between traditional and IP paging?
Traditional paging uses a dedicated amplifier and speaker wiring separate from your data network. IP paging runs over your existing LAN — each speaker or horn is a network device with its own IP address. IP paging is easier to scale, supports zone control and scheduling, and integrates directly with VoIP phone systems.
Do I need a music licence for my hold message?
If you use copyrighted music, yes — Canadian copyright law requires a SOCAN licence for public performance of music, which includes music on hold. The simplest way to avoid this is to use royalty-free music. Our professional voice-over recordings include royalty-free background tracks by default.
Can paging be used for emergency notifications?
Yes. We can configure your paging system with priority override, pre-recorded emergency messages, and all-zone broadcast capability. For facilities that need audible emergency notification (warehouses, schools, large offices), the paging system can serve as part of your emergency communication plan.
How many paging zones can I have?
There's no practical limit with IP paging — each speaker can be assigned to one or more zones, and you can page individual zones, groups of zones, or all zones at once. Traditional analog systems are more limited depending on the amplifier and controller, but we typically support up to 8–12 zones per system.
