Cell Phone Booster
Signal booster installation for commercial buildings, warehouses, homes, and vehicles across Mississauga, Toronto, and the GTA — improving call quality and data speed across all carriers.
Weak cell signal inside your building costs you dropped calls, slow data, and frustrated staff. AN Telecom Solutions installs commercial-grade cell phone signal boosters that amplify coverage from all major carriers — so every phone, tablet, and cellular device in your space gets a reliable connection.
All signal boosters we install are ISED-certified (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada), which is required for legal operation in Canada. We handle the site survey, equipment selection, installation, and carrier registration so your system is fully compliant from day one.
How Signal Boosters Work
A signal booster system captures existing outdoor signal, amplifies it, and rebroadcasts it inside your building or vehicle. The result is stronger, more consistent coverage without relying on Wi-Fi calling or additional cell infrastructure.
Outdoor Antenna
Mounted on the roof or exterior wall, the donor antenna captures the strongest available cell signal from nearby towers.
Amplifier Unit
The booster amplifies the captured signal and prepares it for indoor distribution. Gain levels are automatically adjusted to stay within ISED regulatory limits.
Indoor Antennas
One or more indoor antennas rebroadcast the boosted signal throughout the coverage area. Antenna count and placement depends on building size and layout.
All Carriers Supported
One system boosts signal for all major Canadian carriers simultaneously — Rogers, Bell, Telus, and their sub-brands — no separate equipment needed per provider.
DAS vs Passive Signal Boosters
For larger buildings or campuses, there are two main approaches to solving cellular coverage problems. The right choice depends on building size, user count, and budget.
Passive Signal Boosters
A passive booster (like WilsonPro systems) amplifies existing outdoor signal and rebroadcasts it indoors. Best for buildings up to roughly 100,000 sq ft where usable outdoor signal exists. Lower cost, faster installation, and no carrier coordination required. This is what most small-to-mid-sized commercial buildings in the GTA need.
Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
A DAS is an active system that distributes carrier signal through a network of antennas connected by fiber or coax. Required for very large buildings (100,000+ sq ft), stadiums, hospitals, and environments where passive boosters can't provide sufficient coverage. DAS systems require direct coordination with carriers and have significantly higher cost and lead times.
For most commercial properties in Mississauga and the GTA, a passive booster system provides the coverage improvement needed at a fraction of the cost of DAS. We assess your building and signal conditions to recommend the right approach.
Professional Exterior Installation
Donor antennas need a clear path to the nearest cell towers. Our technicians mount high-performance directional or wideband antennas on the roof or exterior wall, using weather-rated brackets and hardware. Coax is secured along the mast or building, grounded properly, and brought into the structure with clean, durable terminations.
- Site survey for strongest outdoor signal
- Weather-resistant mounting and cable routing
- Grounding and lightning protection per best practice
- ISED-compliant installation and carrier registration
Installation Types
We size and install booster systems for a range of environments across the Greater Toronto Area.
Enterprise and Commercial
Warehouses, office buildings, retail spaces, and multi-floor commercial properties with large coverage requirements — up to 100,000 sq ft per system.
Homes and Residential
Whole-home signal improvement — especially for buildings with thick walls, basements, or rural locations with weak tower signal.
Vehicles
In-vehicle booster kits for cars, trucks, and fleet vehicles that need reliable signal on the road.
WilsonPro Systems
We supply and install WilsonPro commercial-grade boosters, including the Pro 710i with Band 71 (600 MHz) support for 5G networks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are cell phone signal boosters legal in Canada?
Yes, as long as the equipment is ISED-certified (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada). All boosters we install carry ISED certification and comply with Canadian regulations. Some carrier-grade boosters also require registration with the carrier — we handle that as part of the installation.
Will a booster work if I have no signal at all outside?
A booster amplifies existing signal — it can't create signal where none exists. However, even very weak outdoor signal (1 bar) can often be amplified to usable indoor coverage. During our site survey, we measure outdoor signal strength to confirm a booster will be effective for your location.
What is the difference between a booster and a DAS?
A passive booster amplifies and rebroadcasts existing tower signal — best for buildings up to about 100,000 sq ft. A DAS (Distributed Antenna System) is an active system that distributes dedicated carrier signal through a fibre or coax network — required for very large buildings, hospitals, and stadiums. Boosters are faster to install, lower cost, and don't require carrier coordination.
How large a building can one booster cover?
A single commercial-grade WilsonPro unit can cover up to 35,000–100,000 sq ft depending on the model, number of indoor antennas, and building construction. For larger spaces, multiple units or a DAS solution may be needed. We size the system based on your floor plan and measured signal levels.
Does the booster work with all carriers?
Yes. WilsonPro boosters are multi-carrier and multi-band — they amplify signal for Rogers, Bell, Telus, Freedom, and all MVNOs simultaneously. You don't need separate equipment for each carrier.
