CCTV Security Systems
IP and analog camera systems for commercial and residential surveillance — design, installation, and monitoring across Mississauga, Toronto, and the GTA.
Closed circuit television (CCTV) is the industry standard in commercial surveillance and security. Whether you need a single camera network for a retail storefront or a multi-site system linked via switches and wide-area technology, AN Telecom Solutions designs, installs, and configures security camera solutions tailored to your property and requirements across Mississauga, Toronto, and the GTA.
We work with trusted camera manufacturers including Hikvision, Dahua, and Axis to deliver systems that match your coverage needs, resolution requirements, and budget. Every installation includes PoE-powered IP cameras where possible, eliminating the need for separate power runs and simplifying long-term maintenance.
Our Installation Process
Every CCTV project follows a structured approach — from initial assessment through commissioning and handoff.
Site Assessment
We walk your property to identify coverage zones, camera mounting locations, lighting conditions, and any blind spots. This determines camera types, lens selections, and NVR storage requirements.
System Design
Based on the assessment, we design the camera layout, select hardware, and plan the network cabling runs that connect each camera back to your recorder.
Cabling and Mounting
Cameras are mounted and cabled using Cat6 with PoE (Power over Ethernet), reducing wiring complexity. Outdoor cameras get weather-rated housings and conduit protection.
Configuration and Testing
Each camera is configured for resolution, frame rate, motion detection zones, and recording schedules. We verify coverage angles, night vision performance, and remote access before handoff.
Camera Types and Configurations
We supply and install a full range of camera types for indoor, outdoor, and specialized environments.
Dome Cameras
Discreet, tamper-resistant cameras ideal for ceilings and indoor environments. Available in 2MP, 4MP, and 4K resolutions.
PTZ Cameras
Pan-tilt-zoom cameras for wide coverage areas — parking lots, warehouses, and perimeters. Remote-controllable with auto-tracking.
Bullet Cameras
Long-range cameras for outdoor mounting — entrances, loading docks, and building exteriors. Weather-rated with IR night vision.
IP Cameras (PoE)
Network-connected cameras powered over Ethernet — ONVIF-compatible for flexible integration and remote viewing via mobile apps.
Infrared / Night Vision
Cameras with IR illumination for clear footage in low-light and complete darkness — up to 30m+ range depending on the model.
NVR and DVR Storage
Network and digital video recorders for local storage, playback, scheduled recording, and remote access to footage from any device.
Commercial Applications
We install security camera systems for a wide range of commercial and residential properties across the Greater Toronto Area.
- Office buildings and corporate lobbies
- Retail stores and shopping plazas
- Warehouses, factories, and distribution centres
- Restaurants and food service
- Parking lots, garages, and truck yards
- Gas stations and convenience stores
- Condominiums and apartment buildings
- Construction sites (temporary systems)
Each environment has different coverage, resolution, and storage needs. A warehouse in Mississauga may require wide-angle cameras with 30-day retention, while a retail store in Toronto may need higher-resolution cameras focused on point-of-sale areas. We size every system to match.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many cameras do I need for my business?
It depends on the size of your property, the number of entry points, and the areas you need to monitor. A small retail store might need 4–8 cameras, while a warehouse or multi-floor office could require 16–32 or more. We do a free site assessment to determine the right layout.
Can I view my cameras remotely?
Yes. All of our IP camera systems support remote viewing via smartphone, tablet, or desktop. You can check live feeds, review recorded footage, and receive motion alerts from anywhere with an internet connection.
What is the difference between IP and analog cameras?
IP cameras connect to your network via Ethernet (often with PoE power) and offer higher resolution, remote access, and easier scalability. Analog cameras use coaxial cable and are typically lower cost but limited in resolution and features. For new commercial installations, we recommend IP cameras in most cases.
How long is footage stored?
Storage duration depends on the number of cameras, recording resolution, and hard drive capacity in your NVR. Most commercial systems are sized for 14–30 days of continuous recording. We can configure motion-only recording to extend retention if needed.
Do you service areas outside Mississauga?
Yes. We install and service CCTV systems across the entire GTA — including Toronto, Brampton, Oakville, Vaughan, Markham, Hamilton, and surrounding cities in Southern Ontario.
